Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Vachon Camaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piearres Somiedo in the 5th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Vachon Camaño. Sporting Buceo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piearres Somiedo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Piearres Somiedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Nicasio Tijerina got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Buceo's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vachon Camaño came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Piearres Somiedo sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. In the 38th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vachon Camaño. Sporting Buceo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Sporting Buceo's Vachon Camaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play. The Sporting Buceo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 2-3.

In the 52nd minute, Gilmar Cuadrillero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Sidoro Romeu got a free kick in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Vachon Camaño to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vachon Camaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Cuadrillero to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert pulled a muscle in his back after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ecuador made a substitution. Max Alvarado replaced Camilo Gisbert. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vachon Camaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Favila Heras. In the 93rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense.
