Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dinei Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Luiz Porto's late challenge caught a Jamaica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Luiz Porto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ViraLataCaramelo U18 getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. André Luiz Porto hit a great ball. After 13 minutes of play, Jamaica's Finlay Stair made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Messias in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Romon Oliver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the ViraLataCaramelo U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Romon Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinei Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Wayan Freeman. In the 37th minute of the match Pedro Paulo Cosme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Demonde Jacobson skillfully saved the ball. In the 41st minute, Pedro Paulo Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ViraLataCaramelo U18's Eliseu Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, José Augusto Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ViraLataCaramelo U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half ViraLataCaramelo U18 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Augusto Messias was the one to do the kick off. When Romon Oliver came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Jamaica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romon Oliver couldn't finish the play. Finlay Stair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Augusto Messias. With his leg Demonde Jacobson managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when ViraLataCaramelo U18's José Augusto Messias fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th match minute, ViraLataCaramelo U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Vidal to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Guerra came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romon Oliver in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute ViraLataCaramelo U18 were awarded a corner. Pedro Paulo Cosme went to the cornerflag to take it. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Augusto Messias in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karlus Waugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eliseu Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ViraLataCaramelo U18 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
