The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Carter George advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luka Harris got free with Primo Speranza in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Primo Speranza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koby Wright in the 23rd minute of the match. Primo Speranza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rohan Watson in the 28th minute of play. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Columbo in the 29th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Nate Mills put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Canada fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Canada:s Jax Williamson showed great skill when he stopped Timoteo Columbo:s penalty. Jakub Fedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute Rohan Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primo Speranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Gérard Magyar came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Timoteo Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia 1903's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Columbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Academia 1903's Lucien de Neutere got a free kick in the 61st minute. Lucien de Neutere hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Primo Speranza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Burton in the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Leon Matthäus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia 1903's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Matthäus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Primo Speranza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Burton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Filip Edwards hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Canada's Jax Williamson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Canada from getting a goal against them. Leon Matthäus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Jax Williamson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Burton came free, but Primo Speranza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia 1903's Primo Speranza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Burton in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Gérard Magyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Canada defense, Gérard Magyar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jax Williamson. The Canada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jax Williamson should have stopped the shot. Chants of Academia 1903 echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Canada had held the ball for most of the match.
