After 11 played minutes Ernesto Iaki could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Iaki in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When Morre BK's Ernesto Iaki in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rickard Bäckman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Mårtensson in the 27th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Morre BK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Rickard Bäckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Mårtensson scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, Ernesto Iaki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rickard Bäckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Tony Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Gunnarsson in the 59th minute of play. When Ernesto Iaki came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Morre BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Iaki couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Sten Gunnarsson made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Bäckman having to interfere. If Tony Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Morre BK's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Bäckman came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Tony Mårtensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Mårtensson in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Boris Lindsten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morre BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 90th minute, Boris Lindsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boris Lindsten hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rickard Bäckman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Morre BK could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
