Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jörn Holm took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christoffer Modig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 7th minute of the match. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Jörn Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 16th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Oakcroft Thrashers got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harry Ekeberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Jörn Holm sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 42nd minute. USA's Cassius Byrne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christoffer Modig in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 44th minute, Harry Ekeberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. Christoffer Modig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörn Holm in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Cassius Byrne's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christoffer Modig firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jörn Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Ingemar Jonasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Christoffer Modig made a huge save. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Ekeberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Oakcroft Thrashers's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Harry Ekeberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 95 minutes of play, USA's Khalid Parry made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoffer Modig was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oakcroft Thrashers.
