Gilbert Gotfryd kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos. But to his dismay, Wessel Bos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. With his leg Rolando Noboa managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the game, Gilbert Gotfryd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KN ZGORZELEC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 24th minute of play. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Wessel Bos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of the match. Luis María Ogazón was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Peru's Emmanuel Reyes got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Wessel Bos made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, KN ZGORZELEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Ptaszek to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emilio Shepherd firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 64 played minutes KN ZGORZELEC got a freekick which was hit by Wessel Bos. Emilio Shepherd made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Luz Tejedor was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 85 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Shepherd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after KN ZGORZELEC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. The corner led Peru's Rafael Gallo to a score. 2-1 in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Peru's Rafael Gallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Shepherd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. A collision led to KN ZGORZELEC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mariusz Kaleta hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Eliseo Mina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilio Shepherd showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Peru players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented KN ZGORZELEC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
