Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vili Aćimović in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janis Pulver got free with Rolando Noboa in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's goalkeeper Jákó Myroforidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to NK AvtoBUM Kočevje getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ryan Giggs hit a great ball. The throw-in from Ciprian Paveliuc in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Eliseo Mina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jákó Myroforidis. That made the score 0-3 after 90 minutes of play. 94 minutes into the game, Antonio Tenorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NK AvtoBUM Kočevje the free kick. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Peru played a much better game than NK AvtoBUM Kočevje and deserved their victory. The NK AvtoBUM Kočevje players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
