Francisco Seco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Concetto Bani came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Seco slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Concetto Bani. Concetto Bani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Concetto Bani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 32nd minute. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calenzano's Concetto Bani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Calenzano from getting a goal against them. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kevin Carballal helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Anfilogino Traini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Concetto Bani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 81st minute of play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Traini in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Calenzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Aloisi to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Concetto Bani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximiliano Escribano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Concetto Bani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Aloisi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Alvaro Aloisi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
