Carel Van de Schrieck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Kloots came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 88th minute of play forced Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carel Van de Schrieck having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Café DE PLOEG players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chile.
