After a defensive mix-up in OS IMPOSSIVEIS's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicky Williamson came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Cardozo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in OS IMPOSSIVEIS's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicky Williamson came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Witold Gotfryd sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play forced OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalkeeper Nicky Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after OS IMPOSSIVEIS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicky Williamson quite easily take care of the ball. Nicky Williamson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Williamson having to interfere. Nicky Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Witold Gotfryd's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Witold Gotfryd helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes OS IMPOSSIVEIS got a freekick which was hit by Witold Gotfryd. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Witold Gotfryd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicky Williamson could save by the left post. Nicky Williamson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by OS IMPOSSIVEIS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicky Williamson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Nicky Williamson made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Gotfryd came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in OS IMPOSSIVEIS's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicky Williamson came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes OS IMPOSSIVEIS got a freekick which was hit by Witold Gotfryd. OS IMPOSSIVEIS made a substitution. Dedé de Toledo replaced Witold Gotfryd. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play forced OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalkeeper Nicky Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes OS IMPOSSIVEIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalkeeper Nicky Williamson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. In the 83rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicky Williamson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicky Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, OS IMPOSSIVEIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dedé de Toledo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 2-2 became the score in the 90th minute when Felix Montenegro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. OS IMPOSSIVEIS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
