SEFEROĞULLARI's Dursun Ali Mensur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 6th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lefter Seferogullari in the 11th minute of play. SEFEROĞULLARI were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mustafa Ekrem Ozansoy took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Yaşar Sefercik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Yaşar Sefercik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dursun Ali Mensur having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dursun Ali Mensur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dursun Ali Mensur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lefter Seferogullari was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SEFEROĞULLARI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaşar Sefercik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes SEFEROĞULLARI got a freekick which was hit by Yaşar Sefercik. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SEFEROĞULLARI's Tanju Çırakoğlu was substituted for Emirhan Cevar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SEFEROĞULLARI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ceyhan Oğuzkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dursun Ali Mensur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dursun Ali Mensur having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basri Kuddus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SEFEROĞULLARI's Basri Kuddus got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, SEFEROĞULLARI's Dursun Ali Mensur got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SEFEROĞULLARI throughout the match.
