Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Tauro in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Leonel Caponi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Escocia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Caponi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cristian Sancho sped through Club Atlético Escocia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. Aquiles Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Club Atlético Escocia's Jonas Tauro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Venancio Mikolas scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Caponi made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Narciso Sauveur hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Club Atlético Escocia's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 59th minute of play. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Club Atlético Escocia's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Atlético Escocia made a substitution. Pascual Ado replaced Narciso Sauveur. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of play. Mauricio Luken succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-4. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ecuador's attack was well implemented in the 79th minute, but when Luis Andino was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Tauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri having to interfere. If Clemente Oroitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
