With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Cadáveres Voladores's Wenzel Winter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavier Salazar in the 11th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ye Yan Yu. Cadáveres Voladores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Ståhlman in the 23rd minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Xavier Salazar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-1. Cadáveres Voladores's Ye Yan Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Birger Ståhlman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Cadáveres Voladores's Ye Yan Yu got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Joel Gaona sped through Cadáveres Voladores's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ye Yan Yu. After having played for 60 minutes, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Facundo Cadaval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ye Yan Yu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Salazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ye Yan Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 77th minute of play. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Xavier Salazar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ye Yan Yu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
