But to his dismay, Hulki Balatürk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 苏远傲 in the 37th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Lautaro Puig off the ground. After 39 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, 苏远傲 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Isaltino Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Isaltino Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Isaltino Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Aydos Spor A.Ş booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Aydos Spor A.Ş players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aydos Spor A.Ş were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
