The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Jenson Smith got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 4 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes MZ Fénix's Aras Görkem Kaymaz stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Marco Day stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing USA of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Florin Dragușin managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Fénix's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Dragușin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pankracy Zajonc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Cai Yuan Yuan took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 31 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pankracy Zajonc was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 35th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan. But to his dismay, Cai Yuan Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Day. That made the score 3-2 after 40 minutes of play. Pankracy Zajonc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cai Yuan Yuan to strike the kick off in the second half. Pankracy Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 60th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido was substituted for Vladimiro Granja. After having played for 74 minutes, Sam Campbell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam Campbell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 77th minute of play. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan. But to his dismay, Cai Yuan Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. A collision led to MZ Fénix getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Florin Dragușin hit a great ball. Cai Yuan Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jenson Smith in the 90th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. MZ Fénix were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
