Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Luís Gustavo Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Kurt Hamrin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Hamrin got free with Benito Sanz in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 13 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Real Santista FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Gustavo Ferreira hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rafael Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Real Santista FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Faria to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Hamrin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Perez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 37 minutes, Jeremias Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Santista FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute Kurt Hamrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Rubio got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 46th minute. When Kurt Hamrin came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Real Santista FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Hamrin couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Hamrin to make the kick off. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Santista FC's Kurt Hamrin. But to his dismay, Kurt Hamrin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 57 minutes into the game, Real Santista FC's Kurt Hamrin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 63rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Abreu in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 67th minute. Kurt Hamrin scored 5-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Real Santista FC got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Peixoto. 83 minutes into the match, Oséas Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oséas Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. In the 88th minute of the match Vito Aguiar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Hamrin in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
