Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Unione Sportiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khariklo Bilias to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play forced Unione Sportiva's goalkeeper Fernado Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 played minutes Unione Sportiva got a freekick which was hit by Teukros Economides. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiano Ronaldo got free with Rolando Noboa in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play forced Unione Sportiva's goalkeeper Fernado Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Unione Sportiva's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Fernado Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Christiano Ronaldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Unione Sportiva's corner Kimon Yfantis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Khariklo Bilias in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

51 minutes into the match, Christiano Ronaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christiano Ronaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Alonso Berganza in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Unione Sportiva's Khariklo Bilias. 64 minutes into the match, Unione Sportiva's goalkeeper Fernado Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Alonso Berganza made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Unione Sportiva's Kimon Yfantis. After 67 minutes, Teukros Economides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unione Sportiva and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Peru booed when Unione Sportiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teukros Economides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernado Alves made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. When Peru's Luz Tejedor in 75 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fernado Alves guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a defensive mix-up in Unione Sportiva's zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernado Alves came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Unione Sportiva's Fernado Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Unione Sportiva from getting a goal against them. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Eliseo Mina made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Unione Sportiva's Fernado Alves managed to reach the ball for a save.
