After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Nickolaj Nickerson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harlow AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nickolaj Nickerson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nickolaj Nickerson in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The long shot by Seb Towler in the 8th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Frank Zappacosta sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Zappacosta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. After 28 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. 29 minutes into the game, Nickolaj Nickerson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Nickolaj Nickerson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 32ndth minute of the game Nickolaj Nickerson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nickolaj Nickerson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Harlow AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Lon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Zappacosta in the 38th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Nickolaj Nickerson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. A hard shot 45 in the game by Nickolaj Nickerson from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Nickolaj Nickerson put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute of play forced Harlow AFC's goalkeeper Quentin Cobb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 played minutes Harlow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vince Carter. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Zappacosta in the 55th minute of play. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Quentin Cobb made a huge save. In the 61st minute Frank Zappacosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Zappacosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Quentin Cobb in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Quentin Cobb when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th minute Frank Zappacosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Quentin Cobb made a huge save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nickolaj Nickerson in the 89th minute of the match. Quentin Cobb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 92nd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Zappacosta in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Harlow AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
