Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mattias Classon, made in the 2nd minute of the game. Mattias Classon hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Roneros F.C.'s Ricardo Ceberiche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romão Mourato in the 13th minute. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romão Mourato showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. In the 17th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ceberiche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Peru's Luz Tejedor made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Ceberiche was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Ceberiche having to interfere. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cordero Aberasturi was slow to take the kick. During this time Roneros F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Roneros F.C.'s corner Witomir Jestrimski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. Romão Mourato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Romão Mourato took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it. In the 40th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ceberiche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Roneros F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cordero Aberasturi in the 45th minute. Roneros F.C.'s Cordero Aberasturi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Witomir Jestrimski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Peru's Ricardo Ceberiche threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Roneros F.C.'s Ricardo Ceberiche managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Romão Mourato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roneros F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Romão Mourato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Roneros F.C.'s Ortiz Apellaniz got a free kick in the 59th minute. A collision led to Roneros F.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jaume Vasquez hit a great ball. Roneros F.C.'s Alejandro Espina was substituted for Romão Mourato. Jaume Vasquez kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Ricardo Ceberiche in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Ceberiche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 71st minute. A hard shot 72 in the game by Luz Tejedor from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Ceberiche managed to make a qualified save. Roneros F.C.'s players were relieved. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ricardo Ceberiche made a huge save. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Mattias Classon made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cordero Aberasturi however managed to control. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordero Aberasturi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Washington Piedrahita might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Washington Piedrahita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute Washington Piedrahita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Washington Piedrahita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Piedrahita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes of play, Roneros F.C.'s Washington Piedrahita made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there!
