Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jaime Pardo made the kick off which started today's match. CD Suscal's Raimundo Lascano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save CD Suscal from getting a goal against them. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Lascano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Escribano in the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Lascano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of CD Suscal booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Diego Tenorio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Escribano got free with Raimundo Lascano in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Lascano was a little too slow when Hector Covarrubias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Jaime Pardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Raimundo Lascano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Primitivo Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Lascano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CD Suscal's Félix Briceño got a free kick in the 34th minute. Raimundo Lascano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Pardo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Félix Briceño kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in CD Suscal's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Lascano came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Hector Covarrubias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Lascano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 47 minutes into the match, Primitivo Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimundo Lascano. CD Suscal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Lascano saved CD Suscal from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of CD Suscal's Raimundo Lascano. Raimundo Lascano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 59 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Raimundo Lascano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute Primitivo Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Lascano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 70th minute of play forced CD Suscal's goalkeeper Raimundo Lascano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Suscal's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Jaime Pardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Suscal's Raimundo Lascano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CD Suscal's Raimundo Lascano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 80th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Lascano having to interfere. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Pardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Lascano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. CD Suscal's attentive Silvio Ilisarri managed to snatch the ball when Raul Venegas made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Raimundo Lascano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paraguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
