In the 12th minute, Ziemowit Gdowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Adrian Txindoki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Gallo went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Peru's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
