In the 9th minute, Kazimierz Chrobak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by KN ZGORZELEC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Chrobak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Karaszkiewicz in the 31st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Brown was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, one of USA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for USA. The referee gave KN ZGORZELEC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wessel Bos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of USA's Marco Day. 1-2. After 70 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Monty Rogers. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Monty Rogers hit a great ball. Emilio Shepherd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monty Rogers went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. The supporters of USA booed when KN ZGORZELEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Kociniewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khalid Parry took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Shepherd. Emilio Shepherd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. KN ZGORZELEC's Emiliano Felice was substituted for Mariusz Kaleta.
