The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Netto got free with Julio Vera in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Krzysztof Adamski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. REAL MADRID FC's Krzysztof Adamski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REAL MADRID FC.

Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by REAL MADRID FC's Lynkeus Plevritis. But to his dismay, Lynkeus Plevritis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lynkeus Plevritis in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Krzysztof Adamski however easily saved by the left post. Krzysztof Adamski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 66th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in REAL MADRID FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Adamski came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of REAL MADRID FC's Krzysztof Adamski. Krzysztof Adamski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Krzysztof Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 79th minute of the match. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 86th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Krzysztof Adamski quite easily take care of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, REAL MADRID FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Krzysztof Adamski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krzysztof Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Krzysztof Adamski however easily saved by the left post. Ecuador played a much better game than REAL MADRID FC and deserved their victory. The REAL MADRID FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
