In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Suscal's goalkeeper Raimundo Lascano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Félix Briceño during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CD Suscal's Félix Briceño got a free kick in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Lascano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Ivan Echeto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raimundo Lascano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Espinar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Lascano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raimundo Lascano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Christian Sancho threw the ball into play from the sideline. CD Suscal's Silvio Ilisarri quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eduardo Holguin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Raimundo Lascano. Raimundo Lascano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 37th minute of play. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Lascano having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Luca Espinar made a precise shot to the right of Raimundo Lascano. CD Suscal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Lascano having to interfere. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Lascano was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Lascano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. A hard shot 86 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Raimundo Lascano managed to make a qualified save. CD Suscal's players were relieved. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Raimundo Lascano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Lascano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras played a much better game than CD Suscal and deserved their victory. The CD Suscal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
