Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emilian Todoran started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Oneț came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match, Moises Fernandino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcel Bântu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Moises Fernandino, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcel Bântu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Teodor Oneț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fotbal Club Vaslui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Oneț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cristian Albu fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fotbal Club Vaslui's protests and gave Cristian Albu a yellow card for diving instead. Marcel Bântu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 29th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Marcel Bântu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. Emilian Todoran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Bântu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Teodor Oneț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Teodor Oneț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, one of Fotbal Club Vaslui:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fotbal Club Vaslui. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Leguizamo during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodor Oneț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Cristian Albu got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jorge Magrina managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Magrina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Bântu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 76 minutes of play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Emilian Todoran made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Marcel Bântu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Bântu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Mateo Leguizamo in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mugurel Răduț. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Mugurel Răduț sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. El Salvador had played much better football throughout.
