In the 12th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 25 in the game by Jacobo Santxol from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Erasmo Lorencio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Erasmo Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Erasmo Lorencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Santxol in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Abuy Husodo could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. When Rivermania FC's Rosendo Flor in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Flor's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Rosendo Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Densill 李伟锋 in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Severino Hulberto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rosendo Flor scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Rivermania FC's Rosendo Flor in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Rosendo Flor sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Rivermania FC made a substitution. Teodoro Foro replaced Amado Cuartio. Rivermania FC's Ana Tatangelo was substituted for Erasmo Lorencio. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Flor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87thth minute of the game Rosendo Flor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ana Tatangelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abuy Husodo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
