Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barnaba Brudzisz in the 19th minute. GT Real Krosno's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience cheered when Joel Gaona's long shot passed Wiktor Rozanski's right side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miromir Ferfecki to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Brudzisz came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, GT Real Krosno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Sikola to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wiktor Rozanski having to make a save. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Ferfecki in the 87th minute of play. Wiktor Rozanski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Wiktor Rozanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 92nd minute of play forced GT Real Krosno's goalkeeper Wiktor Rozanski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Luca Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The GT Real Krosno fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
