Daniele Danzas short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 6 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniele Danza. 11 minutes into the game, AC Civetta Notturna's Filomeno Garcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Civetta Notturna's goalkeeper Anthony Sacchi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anthony Sacchi quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Gisbert in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthony Sacchi saved AC Civetta Notturna from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sertaç Cansefa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Danza's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuele Corsi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-1 in the 24 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. When Daniele Danza came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the AC Civetta Notturna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Danza couldn't finish the play. AC Civetta Notturna's Daniele Danza was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anthony Sacchi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Anthony Sacchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

If Daniele Danza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Emanuele Corsi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Sacchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniele Di Nardo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Daniele Danza took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. In the 77th minute, Daniele Danza made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Daniele Danza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Longo in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute AC Civetta Notturna were awarded a corner. Octavio Atarrabi went to the cornerflag to take it. 95 minutes into the game, Filomeno Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
