Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsa Fındık, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. İsa Fındık might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İsa Fındık ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Rencber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ahmet Nedim Ertaş in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Rüştü Rencber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nedim Ertaş came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Rencber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valar morghulis's Rüştü Rencber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Battal Cüneyt Oksu got free with Julio Vera in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valar morghulis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gökay Ömür in the 33rd minute. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rüştü Rencber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rüştü Rencber, 1-1. In the 60th match minute, Valar morghulis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Egemen Ruzi to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Valar morghulis's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Rüştü Rencber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-2 via right post in the game's 73rd minute. Ecuador's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 78th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Valar morghulis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Valar morghulis's İsa Fındık. But to his dismay, İsa Fındık quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When Battal Cüneyt Oksu came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Valar morghulis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Battal Cüneyt Oksu couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Battal Cüneyt Oksu sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. In the 95th match minute, Valar morghulis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Nedim Ertaş to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Valar morghulis were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
