Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Codruț Hanganu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Julian Murillo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Codruț Hanganu. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Codruț Hanganu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Hanganu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codruț Hanganu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alonso Berganza advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 26th minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Magne Wenerdahl was slow to take the kick. During this time White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Magne Wenerdahl almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Vigil, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Vigil in the 36th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codruț Hanganu. The White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codruț Hanganu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of play forced White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Codruț Hanganu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Moises Gayoso hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Kajetan Ruszkowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kajetan Ruszkowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kajetan Ruszkowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Peru booed when White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Ruszkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Luz Tejedor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Cheng Zhan Sheng made the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Julian Murillo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Codruț Hanganu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cheng Zhan Sheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheng Zhan Sheng in the 61st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheng Zhan Sheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cheng Zhan Sheng in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Milagros Fraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Codruț Hanganu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheng Zhan Sheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codruț Hanganu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 75th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cheng Zhan Sheng went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- made a substitution. Xiao Fan Jing replaced Remigio Vigil. 82 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Codruț Hanganu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Eliseo Alcocer managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Peru's Eliseo Alcocer in 92 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Codruț Hanganu guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Eliseo Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Hanganu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Codruț Hanganu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
