Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC FUSION the free kick. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match, Aureliano Karlo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Aureliano Karlo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. 15 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 21st minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Christoff Stocks sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute of the match AFC FUSION got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Germano Bettencourt ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aureliano Karlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Karlo ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, AFC FUSION's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aureliano Karlo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aureliano Karlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Aureliano Karlo sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Karlo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of the match. Aureliano Karlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliano Karlo made a kick off. Christoff Stocks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Germano Bettencourt hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Bettencourt in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoff Stocks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Christoff Stocks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save AFC FUSION from getting a goal against them. If Christoff Stocks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Karlo went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. AFC FUSION's Mario Sesuldo was substituted for Jan Hop. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Germano Bettencourt was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC FUSION's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Thiago Silva heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 91st minute, Christoff Stocks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 94 minutes into the game, Jonatan Maidana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC FUSION's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jonatan Maidana hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AFC FUSION's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
