Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Morre BK's Ernesto Iaki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Morre BK got a freekick which was hit by Marc Caspersson. Rickard Bäckman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Iaki in the 11th minute of the match. Morre BK were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marc Caspersson took the corner. Xavier Figueroa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Rickard Bäckman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. The supporters of Morre BK booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Marc Caspersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Bäckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Orlando Casaus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rickard Bäckman. Mariano Lacasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Mårtensson in the 39th minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rickard Bäckman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Iaki got free with Thiago Pliego in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morre BK's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rickard Bäckman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Morre BK's Rickard Bäckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 68th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rickard Bäckman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Morre BK's goalkeeper Rickard Bäckman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Morre BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Rickard Bäckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Tony Mårtensson took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. 87 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rickard Bäckman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rickard Bäckman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chile fans cheered their team off the field, for while Morre BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
