Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Ferrant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian de Lima having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Dorian de Lima was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Eduardo Fontirroig capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eduardo Fontirroig really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 62nd minute, Mario Fernandino made a precise shot to the right of Dorian de Lima. Renegados's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dorian de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Renegados's zone, Eduardo Fontirroig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian de Lima came out of the goal and Eduardo Fontirroig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Gustavo Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Trevisan came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Fontirroig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Dorian de Lima made a huge save. Dorian de Lima was a little too slow when Eduardo Fontirroig got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-4.
