In the 36th minute, Renegados's Kléberson Tróia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Luís Gustavo Rocha hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Renegados's Dorian de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romon Oliver in the 41st minute of play. Kléberson Tróia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Demonde Jacobson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléberson Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Renegados's supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demonde Jacobson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica's zone, Jaime Trevisan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal and Jaime Trevisan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
