Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A throw-in in the 4th minute of the game was made by Pedro Ferdinand with Pedro Barrionuevo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Bielejewski having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Milagros Fraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Tadeusz Raschke sent off a good shot on target. Tanek Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of the match. Tadeusz Raschke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Rolando Noboa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 34th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Grasshoppers Klucze's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Peru's Joaquin Prats to fire away a dangerous shot which Tanek Bielejewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanek Bielejewski was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 37th match minute, Grasshoppers Klucze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Kemal Acaröz to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Bielejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanek Bielejewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Tadeusz Raschke charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
