Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Ponk in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Pastor Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Firman saved Club Sportivo Quilmes from getting behind. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Alonso Berganza got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 29 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Sportivo Quilmes's goalkeeper Pastor Firman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 38 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
