Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Puma Białystok. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Brysz in the 12th minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. If Waldemar Gall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 17th minute. Pawel Brysz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. But to his dismay, Mikolaj Pietrasz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pawel Brysz to make the kick off. In the 67th minute Pawel Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Puma Białystok's Cosme Talcao got a free kick in the 76th minute. A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Vincent Welch with Mikolaj Pietrasz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match.
