That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Cactos's attentive Victoriano Loreto managed to snatch the ball when Alonso Berganza made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cengizhan Baycan in the 15th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bran Allison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Milagros Fraga made a precise shot to the right of Bran Allison. Cactos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Cengizhan Baycan came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Maurinho Trezeguet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cengizhan Baycan to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Allison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cactos's Alberigo Palomba got a free kick in the 76th minute. Cactos's Bran Allison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes Cactos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Peter Bagge, made in the 80th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Bran Allison in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bran Allison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Capixaba couldn't finish the play.
