Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xabel Gandia in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, El Kiwy Mecanico's goalkeeper Hermelando Rey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanley Wallace. Rocco Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Kyle Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabel Gandia in the 36th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanley Wallace might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermelando Rey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stanley Wallace ran back to his position shaking his head. After 46 played minutes, El Kiwy Mecanico's 杜烨川 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Barrett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Kiwy Mecanico reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xabel Gandia made a kick off. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan-Alfredo Vuelta, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xabel Gandia got free with Bruno Barrett in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kyle Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Alfaro shot from long distance in the 59th minute, but Bruno Barrett was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 66th minute, Xabel Gandia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Kiwy Mecanico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Leizarraga Urbieta hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Marshall Graham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rocco Owen's late challenge caught a El Kiwy Mecanico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rocco Owen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Owen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Alfredo Vuelta in the 78th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leizarraga Urbieta might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leizarraga Urbieta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89thth minute of the game Xabel Gandia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan-Alfredo Vuelta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Leizarraga Urbieta struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Kiwy Mecanico. El Kiwy Mecanico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
