Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Furgat in the 37th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 94 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucjan Gierlach. Galaxy Team U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Honduras walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
