In the 20th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Shaolin soccer's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Shaolin soccer's Wlodzimierz Osielski managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 22nd minute, Miromir Lichorobiec reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 2-0. Miromir Lichorobiec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Wlodzimierz Osielski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Walczyk made a kick off. Wlodzimierz Osielski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wlodzimierz Osielski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Lichorobiec in the 54th minute of the match. The corner led Shaolin soccer's Florian Buczak to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Shaolin soccer's Wlodzimierz Osielski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Shaolin soccer from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Lichorobiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wlodzimierz Osielski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 69th minute. 72 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Felix Montenegro. Wlodzimierz Osielski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Shaolin soccer's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Osielski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Shaolin soccer's Herbert Walczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play forced Shaolin soccer's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Osielski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Miromir Lichorobiec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miromir Lichorobiec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Shaolin soccer were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
