Primo Speranza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo was substituted for Leon Matthäus. Efraim Gilabert made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Milagros Fraga however managed to control. The Peru supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Academia 1903's performance. The match ended with a win for Academia 1903.
