Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pawel Brysz started the match with the kick off. Christian Byström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. FC Puma Białystok's Mikolaj Pietrasz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pawel Brysz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafal Cichocki was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Puma Białystok's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikolaj Pietrasz in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Byström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 32 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, FC Puma Białystok's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Christian Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Puma Białystok's Christian Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 39th minute of play. Pawel Brysz took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Christian Byström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Christian Byström made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute Mikolaj Pietrasz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Byström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute. Christian Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 84th minute of play. Felix Montenegro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Christian Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play. Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that FC Puma Białystok's Christian Byström managed to reach the ball for a save. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Puma Białystok getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mikolaj Pietrasz hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
