The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Galaxy Team U18's Lucjan Gierlach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 2nd minute of play. Lucjan Gierlach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Lucjan Gierlach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Miralles took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucjan Gierlach. Lucjan Gierlach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 24 minutes, Jacek Witek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxy Team U18 and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacek Witek kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Gierlach having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Galaxy Team U18 got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Dubiel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 41st minute of play forced Galaxy Team U18's goalkeeper Lucjan Gierlach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lucjan Gierlach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonard Furgat made a kick off. With a little luck, Galaxy Team U18's Lucjan Gierlach got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abraham Alguacil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lucjan Gierlach firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lucjan Gierlach was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Tomas Berganza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Berganza really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Mietus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aureliusz Mietus during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucjan Gierlach saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Lucjan Gierlach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Galaxy Team U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Zahemski to maneuver through the defense.
