Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. Bernd Yuschni made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Andaç Adahan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Argina came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Argina to make the kick off. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Douglas Lundin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-2. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willi Tilmann in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Hannover Reds getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Douglas Lundin hit a great ball. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Hannover Reds's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Alberto Tafalla was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 87 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. 89 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernd Yuschni. Hannover Reds's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3.
