The player immediately received a yellow card. Witomir Gerlach kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Eugeniusz Siekierski made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. In the 11th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Lech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Radowit Lech. FC Rudzianka Szczecin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play forced FC Rudzianka Szczecin's goalkeeper Radowit Lech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Venezuela's Patricio Costa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Radowit Lech in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rudzianka Szczecin's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radowit Lech came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Rudzianka Szczecin's Eugeniusz Siekierski got a free kick in the 31st minute. Eugeniusz Siekierski made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Herbert Zawacki immediately put the ball in play. After 44 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyryl Pysz in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyryl Pysz was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Tomas Illescas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Radowit Lech saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that FC Rudzianka Szczecin's Radowit Lech managed to reach the ball for a save. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Radowit Lech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. FC Rudzianka Szczecin's Mariusz Niziolek got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radowit Lech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. FC Rudzianka Szczecin's Mariusz Niziolek got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radowit Lech was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Pysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Venezuela's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
