Jan Ekenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Jan Ekenberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 1-0. After having played for 15 minutes, Lars Frykberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mean Machine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Frykberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Kleen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 17th minute of the match. Casper Kleen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Kleen. Mean Machine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Alguacil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mean Machine's Casper Kleen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Mean Machine from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Berglund came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mean Machine's Casper Kleen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casper Kleen. Casper Kleen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Lindström in the 76th minute of play. Casper Kleen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Kleen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Alguacil went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Henry Alebäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Edmund Holmgren fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mean Machine's protests and gave Edmund Holmgren a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Edmund Holmgren hit a great ball. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
