Barry Kent kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, WKS Śląsk Wrocław's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Tafalla came free, but Volkan Ünalmış reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Volkan Ünalmış was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Volkan Ünalmış having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volkan Ünalmış breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WKS Śląsk Wrocław's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Honduras booed when WKS Śląsk Wrocław was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barry Kent didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by WKS Śląsk Wrocław's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Christian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Volkan Ünalmış did a great save. 29 minutes into the game, WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Barry Kent nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Barry Kent put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Barry Kent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. When Edmundo Espiga fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Edmundo Espiga a yellow card for diving instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Moises Tafalla hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Szczepan Wiatrak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WKS Śląsk Wrocław fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Volkan Ünalmış made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, WKS Śląsk Wrocław's goalkeeper Volkan Ünalmış had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Jan Bator hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Kent in the 61st minute of play. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Edmundo Espiga sped through WKS Śląsk Wrocław's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Volkan Ünalmış. The supporters of WKS Śląsk Wrocław booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Tanek Podwojski got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Napoleon Zajonc in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Honduras booed when WKS Śląsk Wrocław was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szczepan Wiatrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Volkan Ünalmış showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Volkan Ünalmış came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmundo Espiga slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 88th minute. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Wiatrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Bator kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Volkan Ünalmış came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Honduras had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
