After having played for 84 minutes, Timoteo Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia 1903's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Columbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Primo Speranza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Timoteo Columbo scored 3-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jax Williamson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primo Speranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primo Speranza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Edwards, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Despite being the better team, Canada failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
