Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thanos Kalfakis got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanos Kalfakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fondas Papadogiannakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute of the match, Thanos Kalfakis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Moraru having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Commandos:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jonathan Ferrant, was totally fooled by The Commandos's Fondas Papadogiannakis, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Thanos Kalfakis scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Kalfakis came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanos Kalfakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 39 minutes into the game, Sokratis Tsardikos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dumitru Moraru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Moraru having to interfere. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dumitru Moraru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thanos Kalfakis went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The Commandos made a substitution. Grigoris Sourmelis replaced Thanos Kalfakis. After 76 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. In the 79th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Dumitru Moraru in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grigoris Sourmelis scored 4-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Commandos.
